The Mending Between Us explores the bonds that connect two makers through a shared language of cloth & stitch. Bringing together eco-printed textile remnants and hand-stitching practices, the collection emerged from a desire to reconnect after a period of distance and disconnection.
Created through the collaborative relationship of mother and daughter, each work is shaped through an exchange of materials, skills, memories, and gestures passed between generations.
The act of mending becomes both a practical and symbolic process, repairing not only fabric but also the spaces that can emerge between people over time. This garment reflects on a shared love of creative expression, reciprocity, and the enduring threads that bind family, revealing connection as something continually nurtured through acts of making and care.

A note about our style and craftsmanship:
We embrace texture, raw edges, and visible stitching. Our pieces are designed with a rustic, earthy aesthetic and are full of character, celebrating the beauty of handmade details rather than factory perfection.
If you're looking for perfectly uniform seams and flawless finishes, our pieces may not be the right fit. We create garments that are intentionally organic, imperfect, and unique, each one with its own story.

ABOUT THE PROCESS:
Our practice is process led, with each piece involving hours of preparation, sewing, creation, boiling, curing, and finishing. As the work emerges to be unbundled from the cauldron, we observe how the prints revealed in the fabric reflect our world and experiences. Each piece stands as a symbolic representation of our relationship and exchange with the natural living world.
