This skirt is crafted from ethically sourced raw organic cotton in collaboration with Satmaya Spirit.
The flooded gum bark and silky oak are sourced from Gubbi Gubbi country.
Designed as a free-size garment, it comfortably fits sizes 8–12 and can be styled in multiple ways by tying the straps at the back or wrapping them around the waist as well as draping the garment across your shoulders as a wrap top or poncho, or even a shawl. A very handy travel companion.
Designed for layering, it welcomes garments both over and beneath, adapting to seasons, moods, and moments. A piece that grows as you grow, and travels as you travel, moves and you move and is a pieces that listens to your body by honouring fluctuation, growth, and becoming.

ABOUT THE PROCESS:
Our practice is process led, with each piece involving hours of preparation, sewing, creation, boiling, curing, and finishing. As the work emerges to be unbundled from the cauldron, we observe how the prints revealed in the fabric reflect our world and experiences. Each piece stands as a symbolic representation of our relationship and exchange with the natural living world.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
This piece needs to be cared for as you would care for yourself. They are imprinted with living colour that morphiates and changes as you engage with it. The PH of your water or the detergent you use will alter and change the colour and allow this piece to change with you. Its best to use a PH neutral detergent like Kin Kin https://www.kinkinnaturals.com.au/product-laundry_wool.html
Only wash it when it feels dirty, wash in gently in cold water.
Don't use nasty chemicals, keep it natural.
Dry it in the shade and mend it if it needs repairs.
We do offer re-dyes/repairs if you decided years later you want it to be refreshed.
